Remodelling and extension of a detached house in Woodham, Surrey.
This project involved the complete extension and remodelling of this property almost from the ground up! The tired and dated exterior (and interior) of this house was completely transformed into a sympathetic mix of traditional arts & crafts exterior with a stylish and contemporary open-plan interior. The very high quality of finish is a testament to the owner’s quality led and detailed approach to the project.
The interior spaces have been specifically designed to make the most of the available views & orientation and the patio/garden exhibits magnificient views over the Basingstoke canal & conservation area beyond.
Convoluted internal spaces were opened up to flow in a more logical fashion off a central feature stairwell as well as the creation of a large open plan kitchen/family/dining space as well as a sitting room media room and study. Accommodation on the first floor was re-organised to create 3 spacious bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom. The loft has been converted to provide a further 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and services/storage areas.
