Project 1384
Residential New Build
A stunning detached 7 bedroom family home in Woking, Surrey occupying a 1000m2 plot.
This house was a replacement for an existing post war property which was structurally not sound. The client’s design brief was to embrace green technologies which it certainly did!
This project was a complex new build resulting in a contemporary property comprising of 675m2 of open plan accommodation over 4 floors. 7 bedrooms with 7 bathrooms are all accessed off a generous hall/stairs and landing; a spacious kitchen/family dining room, TV room and drawing room on the ground floor. Additional features include an indoor swimming pool and spa, basement media room and wine cellar and study.
The house is fully automated with a heat recovery and ventilation system which when combined with the exceptionally well insulated SIPs ™ timber frame system creates a home which is very healthy to live in. Other features to ensure an allergy and eco-friendly house are handmade clay roof tiles to solar panels, a rain harvest tank/Central Vacuums System and MHVR™ system consequently resulting in an environmentally sensitive British made eco-smart home.
In addition, this smart home is controlled by Apple iPads using CRESTRON™ audio visual and lighting system. This allows the wireless control of LED lighting, blind control, scene setting and TVs with cable and satellite access. The system is delivered from the hub located in the basement to the central speakers and wall hung Samsung smart TVs throughout the house.
All these state of the art fittings complete a modern, welcoming and stylish family home.
